Hoping to have it for Halloween? Order Now!
Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October, so if you have your eye on the Little Bat harness, we recommend ordering as soon as possible.
Our supplier estimates delivery at approximately 9–12 working days in most states after dispatch. Processing and dispatch time are additional, and delivery times can vary by location.
We can’t guarantee arrival by Friday 30 October or in time for Halloween. Please keep this in mind if you’re ordering specifically for the occasion.
Start with the right fit
Before choosing a size, measure your cat and compare their measurements with the product’s size guide. Weight alone won’t tell you how a harness will fit.
Once it arrives, follow the fitting instructions and check that your cat can move comfortably. The harness should be secure without restricting movement or rubbing behind the front legs.
Check the fit and fastenings each time you use it and supervise your cat throughout. A harness should never be treated as escape-proof.
Your quick fit check
- Measure your cat and compare with the product’s size guide.
- Follow the fitting instructions and check all fastenings.
- Make sure your cat can move comfortably without rubbing behind the front legs.
- Check the fit before each use and supervise throughout.
- Build confidence indoors before trying any outdoor exploring.
New to harnesses? Begin at home
If your cat hasn’t worn a harness before, their first introduction can happen right in your apartment. There’s no need to head outside straight away.
1. Make it familiar
Let your cat investigate the harness in a quiet room. Give them time to sniff it and reward calm interest with a favourite treat.
2. Keep the first try brief
Gently introduce the harness, following its fitting instructions. Start with a short session and remove it before your cat becomes uncomfortable.
3. Build up gradually
As your cat becomes comfortable, let them move around indoors while wearing it. Keep sessions positive and increase the time gradually.
4. Introduce the leash indoors
Once your cat moves comfortably in the harness, attach the leash and follow their lead. Avoid pulling or trying to make them walk a particular route.
If your cat freezes, struggles or seems distressed, stop and return to an easier step another day.
Little adventures, at your cat’s pace
For a cat who enjoys their harness, an outdoor adventure might simply mean sniffing a quiet courtyard or watching leaves move.
Choose a calm, secure setting away from traffic, dogs and Halloween activity. Let your cat decide how much exploring they want to do.
Some cats prefer staying indoors, and that’s perfectly fine. Don’t rush training to meet a Halloween deadline or insist on a photo if your cat is uncomfortable.
