Five Sizes for Little Explorers
Every cat and small dog has a different body shape, so choosing the correct harness size is essential for comfort and security.
This harness is available in five sizes, from XXS through to Large. Always measure your pet's neck and chest before selecting a size.
| Size | Neck | Chest | Recommended Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| XXS | 24–30cm | 30–35cm | 1.5–2.5kg |
| XS | 30–35cm | 34–40cm | 2.5–3.5kg |
| Small | 32–38cm | 40–45cm | 3.5–5.5kg |
| Medium | 36–42cm | 42–48cm | 5.5–7kg |
| Large | 36–44cm | 48–53cm | 7–8.5kg |
Our sizing tip: Neck and chest measurements should be your main guide when selecting a size. Weight is provided as a general recommendation only.
Measure around the base of your pet's neck and the widest part of their chest, just behind the front legs.
Both measurements should fall within the chosen size range. If your pet falls between sizes, check the adjustment range carefully rather than relying on weight alone.
Measurements are approximate. Please allow for slight manufacturing variations.

A Gentle Introduction to Harness Walking
If your cat or small dog is unfamiliar with wearing a harness, a little patience can help create a more positive experience.
Introduce the Harness
Allow your pet to investigate the harness before putting it on. Use treats, praise or play to build a positive association.
Practise at Home
Begin with short, supervised wearing sessions indoors. Check the fit and allow your pet to move naturally.
Explore Gradually
Once your pet is comfortable, attach the lead and introduce calm, supervised outdoor experiences at their own pace.
The Right Fit Makes All the Difference
Measure before ordering. Check both neck and chest measurements against the size chart. Weight alone is not a reliable indicator of fit.
Adjust before every walk. Ensure the harness sits snugly without restricting breathing or natural movement.
Always supervise. Never leave your pet unattended while wearing a harness or attached to a lead.
Remember that no harness is completely escape-proof. A frightened or determined pet may still be able to slip free.
Reflective is not illuminated. Reflective strips help visibility when light shines on them, but do not replace adequate lighting or supervision.
Good to Know Before You Order
Is this harness suitable for cats?
Yes. The harness is designed for both cats and small dogs. Please check your pet's neck and chest measurements against the size chart to determine suitability.
How many sizes are available?
There are five sizes: XXS, XS, Small, Medium and Large. Each has its own neck, chest and recommended weight range.
Should I choose a size based on weight?
No. Weight is a helpful general guide, but neck and chest measurements are the most important factors when choosing a suitable size.
Is the harness adjustable?
Yes. The harness features multiple adjustment points to help achieve a comfortable, secure fit within the listed size range.
Is the lead included?
Yes. Each harness includes a matching 150cm lead, regardless of the size selected.
Is the harness escape-proof?
No harness can guarantee that a pet cannot escape. Always adjust the fit correctly and supervise your pet when outdoors.
What is the benefit of a vest-style harness?
The vest-style construction helps distribute leash pressure across the chest and shoulders rather than concentrating it around the neck.
Does the reflective detailing make the harness visible at night?
Reflective strips help improve visibility when illuminated by a light source. They do not produce their own light and should not be relied on as the only safety measure.
Can I use this harness for a cat that has never worn one?
Yes, provided the harness fits correctly and your cat tolerates wearing it. Start with short, positive indoor sessions before attempting supervised outdoor walks. Some cats may not enjoy harness walking.
Is this suitable for everyday walks?
The harness is designed for regular supervised walking and outdoor activities. Always check its condition and fit before use.
